After a terrific second round on Friday, tied for the first spot at the Rocket Mortgage Classic is Taylor Moore. After a 64 in the first round on Thursday, he came up with a 67 on the second day of the tournament to share the lead with Taylor Pendrith. The Texas player has indeed made waves at the Detroit Golf Club.

After turning professional in 2016, Taylor has played on the Korn Ferry Tour and PGA Tour Canada, where he won at the Staal Foundation Open. So far 2023 has been a good year for Taylor who has played in the PGA Championship as well as the Masters Tournament.

His first win on the PGA Tour also came early this year when he won the Valspar Championship in March. During its final round, he overturned a two-stroke deficit to win and took home a grand paycheck of $1.5 million.

Moore is taking strong steps towards another victory on PGA, one can say after the second round at Detroit. Who is Taylor Moore’s longtime partner and soon-to-be bride?

Taylor’s girlfriend Lexi Sorensen is a social media influencer and a professional model. According to her Linkedin profile, Sorensen has done her Bachelor’ in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma in May 2021. She also has a Social Marketing Certification by Hootsuite.

Lexi has been often spotted at golf events extending her support to Moore. How exactly the couple met is unknown but they have been going strong since 2019.

Taylor is a reserved guy and rarely shares any details as to what is going on in his life. But 2019 was a special year as he shared a few snippets of a blossoming romance with Lexi as the couple made numerous trips together. Moore made it official in 2019 when he posted a picture of them from the Wichita Open. He didn’t say anything about Lexi but simply posted a picture of her from the course and tagged her in it.

After that in the next picture he posted, the two of them were seen kayaking in the Pinewood Reservoir.

Shortly after that, the couple made a romantic getaway to Mexico where they spent most of their time by the sea. On the trip, Taylor added a hilarious caption trolling his girlfriend. He wrote: ” I’ve never seen someone take more naps in my life. Couple days of fun south of the border.”

 A few months after that he shared a bunch of photos of the couple’s fun-filled trip to Las Vegas and Lexi was the star of every picture. The couple celebrates Christmas with each other ever since they got together.

Taylor’s romantic proposal to Lexi at a health spa

Last year Moore surprised everyone with a big announcement. Among the very limited Instagram golf posts, he shared a series of pictures in which he proposed to Lexi. Taylor made the big move at a Health Spa with beautiful architecture making a very picturesque backdrop. In the old fashioned way, he sat on one knee, held out the ring, and asked Lexi to be his lifetime partner. The pictures are adorable and the post received many likes from fans who congratulated them and wished them a successful married life.

Until now there hasn’t been any confirmation on the wedding date and the fans are eagerly waiting. 

Although Moore is relatively new to the PGA Tour he is slowly making his mark and impressing the golf community with his good performances. And with the support of Lexi, he will fancy himself for another title this season. It could very well be the Rocket Mortgage.
