Amundi is one of the biggest investment managers in the world. In 2021, the organization announced it would become the title sponsor of the Evian Championship held in France. The tournament recognized by the US LPGA was then renamed after the organization. Amundi has been involved in the golf world since 2011 and has been making long-term commitments since then.

Before sponsoring the Evian Championship, Amundi provided individual support for female golfers with programs like the Amundi Women Talent Program, The Amundi Young Talent Program, The Amundi German Masters, and so on. According to a rough estimate, this has managed to benefit over 560 young golfers since 2021.

Even the Amundi Evian Championship has a field consisting of 132 players, with the top female players from the Rolex Rankings taking part. It is with Amundi’s help that the tournament has a total purse of $8 million, compared with last year’s total prize money of $6.5 million.
