Spanish golfer Sergio Garcia is married to Angela Akins, the couple tied the knot in 2017. Sergio and Angela have two children and are often seen together at events. Angela has been a constant presence in Garcia’s life, even as he played the Ryder Cup 2020 at the Whistling Straits last month.

Angela, who used to present and report for the Golf Channel, has studied at the University of Texas, where she was also a part of the college golf team. Reports state that the lovely couple met when Angela was still working as a reporter. Angela continues to play golf with a handicap of three.
That being said, Angela’s family also has a sporting history. Her father Marty played as a quarterback for the Texas Longhorns. Her grandfather Ray, on the other hand, earned a name for himself by coaching the Texas High-school football team. As per Angela, she was supporting the European time but is an American. The insults and heckles embarrassed her, and also other people at the tournament. Angela even added that the hecklers approached her later on, apologizing for the way they behaved.
