Burns grew up in Lewis Center, Ohio, and attended the Olentangy High School in 1995.

While he is a successful caddie now, Perkins has himself played golf when he was in college.

Perkins also talked about how his greatest golf memory is getting his PGA Tour card in 2008. He even shared his favorite moment as a caddie, which was when DA won the Houston Open (2013) and he was on the bag. While Perkins enjoys every aspect of being a caddie.

According to him, the best part of being a caddie is being able to travel every week and meeting new people. Perkins also revealed that his personal favorite golfers are Freddy Couples and Jack Nicklaus.

Perkins loves to travel and considers traveling to be the best part of his job. While Perkins loves to visit new cities and countries, his favorite place to visit is Portland, Oregon.

Perkins’ life outside of golf

Meanwhile, the golf course where Perkins loves to play is the Royal County Down, while his favorite course to caddie is St. Andrews. Perkins loves to eat and drink whenever he travels, he is really fond of Thai food and his favorite drink is Tito’s.

Perkins also revealed how his favorite NFL team is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which is now led by Tom Brady. Speaking of life outside of golf, Perkins added that he loves sports in Tampa, along with a barbeque.

Wile Perkins is fond of traveling, eating, and various other things. His first love is always golf. That being said, Perkins has helped Burns secure his 2021 Valspar Championship win in Florida, his first PGA Tour win.
