Most sportspeople have worked through the years to hone their skills on the field. Yet, there are a few exceptions where athleticism runs in the family. LPGA star Nelly Korda comes from a family of sportspeople wherein she and her sister are devout to golf while the rest of her family is more into the fine arts of Tennis.

The Korda sisters aren’t the only siblings interested in the royal sport. For LIV Golf loyalist, Phil Mickelson, golf pretty much is a sibling trait. After parting ways with his long-term caddie Jim ‘Bones’ Mackay, ‘Golf’s Most Colourful Superstar’ as per Alan Shipnuck, turned to his brother for help. Now the siblings are tearing it up on the LIV Golf circuit.

Phil Mickelson’s brother Tim Mickelson is many things; a former golf coach, former golfer, currently a father and loving husband, and an extraordinary brother. The pro golfer’s younger brother came to his rescue shortly after he ended his long-term golfer-caddie relations with Mackay, who has accompanied Lefty since his early years on the PGA Tour circuit.

The two brothers started working together and they haven’t looked back since. They share a few incredible traits aside from their passion for golf. While Phil Mickelson is right-handed and plays with his left hand, Tim Mickelson is left-handed but plays with his right hand. The ambidexterity of the two siblings is truly commendable.

While coaching was a fulfilling calling, Lefty’s younger brother also wanted to make it into the sport’s core world.

Before embarking upon a coaching career, Tim Mickelson played at the Buick Invitational in 1999 and even attempted to join the reputed Korn Ferry Tour which was known as the Buy.com Tour when he applied in 2001. Sadly, he missed the cut at both events, which swiftly helped him turn his career around to help other golfers realize their potential.
