Nick Hardy, a 27-year-old professional golfer from Illinois, has won an incredible $1,242,700 at the 2023 Zurich Classic. He had teamed up with fellow compatriot Davis Riley to compete at TPC, Louisiana. This is Hardy’s first-ever PGA Tour event victory, his last best finish coming at the Sanderson Farms Classic, wherein he had finished at T5.

The Illinois native has harbored a great love for the sport since a young age, turning pro in 2018. Throughout his illustrious amateur and college career, however, Hardy found constant support in his partner, Elizabeth Elmassian. In this piece, we will learn a bit more about the new Zurich Classic winner’s partner and fiancee.

Just like her fiancee, Elmassian also enjoys a career in golf. An accomplished player herself, she has competed in a bunch of events at the Epson Tour. She has also secured a couple of top-10 finishes in her professional career. Besides golf, she also boasts a great deal of knowledge about nutrition and fitness, having a particular affinity for plant-based, whole-food diets. According to her LinkedIn, Elmassian is originally from the Greater Sydney area.

She boasts close to 42k followers on her Instagram @lizelmassian, where she regularly posts pictures with her pro-golfer partner Hardy. From celebrating his college wins to congratulating him on earning his PGA Tour card, she leaves no stone unturned to shower her fiancee with praise. She has also been on the bag for him at times.

Elmassian also regularly treats her fans to golfing videos, regularly showing off her swinging and putting skills. The Aussie often shares valuable tips, tricks, and challenges with her followers. As a golfer, Elmassian takes great care of her health and even enjoys doing Pilates!

The Zurich Classic win is a massive feat for the 27-year-old Hardy. At last year’s event, the youngster’s career had hit a roadblock. Due to an injury in his wrist, the golfer had to miss the action for two months, eventually re-earning his PGA Tour card at the Korn Ferry Finals.

After his Zurich Classic win, Hardy’s fiancee took to Instagram to congratulate him and his playing partner, Davis Riley. Sharing a photo of the victorious pair, Elmassian wrote that she was very proud of their incredible feat.

The pair of Hardy and Riley had a sensational final round at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, where they birdied four of their final six holes to card a seven-under 65 for a record total of 30-under 258. As the two of them bagged the largest share of the $8.4 million prize purse, Hardy will definitely be thankful for his fiancee’s support. After all, Elmassian has always been one of the biggest sources of support for Nick Hardy.

Not much is known about how and when Hardy and Elmassian got together. However, it can be presumed that the couple got together at the University of Illinois, where Hardy studied Sport Management. Both of them have been together for a significant period, with Elmassian taking to Instagram in mid-2020 to wish her partner on the occasion of their 3-years anniversary.

On 12th February last year, both Hardy and Elmassian had a piece of great news for their fans. The pair announced that they were engaged to be married. The Australian beauty shared a lovely photo of the couple, captioning it, “Forever 💕 12.02.21.” Congratulations poured in huge numbers following the wholesome news.
