Even though Christian Christensen became a regular looper for the European Tour player in 2023, they started working together a bit before. The golfer was just 19 years old when he won his first European Tour event at the DS Automobiles Italian Open in 2021 with Christensen on his bag. This event became historic due to the back-to-back victories of Hojgaard and his brother, Rasmus Hojgaard.
Christensen has since been a regular bagman for Hojgaard. With Christensen at his side, the young golfer grabbed his second European Tour victory in 2022 at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship. The duo had a top-ten finish at the 2023 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship. Hojgaard finished at T23 in his first-ever Open in 2023, and two months later, he won the DP World Tour Championship.
Christensen’s assistance to Hojgaard on the greens has displayed enormous improvement in the golfer’s game. The duo appeared in their first full season on the PGA Tour and took second place at the Farmers Insurance Open earlier this year. Additionally, after a top three in the Czech Republic and a tied fifth finish in Switzerland, both the player and the caddie continued to grow.
Their journey until now has been wonderful. The golfer surely has a lot of trust in the caddie and showcased the calming influence of Christensen on the bag with his sparkling scorecard.

Before Christensen, Hojgaard also had Lee Warne in his bag. Warne used to work as a greenkeeper at Wentworth.
