We all know that golf is a game of precision, patience, and practice, right? Well, all those qualities are possessed by this young golfer, who adds a dash of youthful energy and natural talent to the mix. So who is this little golfer? Well, the name is Caleb Parry who is just 4 years old and is already making a name for himself in the industry. As amazing as that must be, we haven’t even gotten to the best part. The four-year-old golf sensation is hailed as the ‘next Rory Mcllroy‘ after sinking a stunning 70-yard hole-in-one.

People made a nickname for Parry, a ‘Mini McIlroy’ and you’ll know why soon enough. But how did the ‘Pint-sized’ golfer start playing golf? Significantly, Parry’s journey began when his dad, James, introduced him to plastic golf clubs at just 18 months old. Fast forward to today, and Caleb’s impressive swing has earned him recognition and admiration from adult golfers at his local club.

This is how the golfer reacted when he saw everyone cheering on him, “I hit [it with] my driver, and it went in and everyone cheered for me”, said Parry per SWS YouTube Channel. His dad also came forward to talk about how proud he was of his son and said, “I think he’s very good, and the swing he’s got is ridiculous for a five-year-old”. But what he said after that shocked everyone. According to James, his son wants to be like the GOAT when he grows up. “He hopes to emulate Tiger Woods when he’s older,” said James.

Caleb Parry’s passion for golf is undeniable. How many four-year-olds do you know who want to practice their skills when they wake up? None, right? Parry is unique. Every evening after school, he eagerly asks to play golf, and his love for the sport has become ingrained in his daily routine. Even mornings start with chipping and putting in the living room which truly showcases his dedication to becoming golf’s next big thing.

“Every night after school, he says, ‘Can I go and play golf.’ So it’s now kind of ingrained in him. And he usually wakes up in the morning and chips or does some putting in the living room,” says his father. But this dedication paid off when Caleb participated in the Junior Sixes tournament at Caldy Golf Club on August 21 and, on the fifth hole, he impressively knocked the ball into the cup with a 70-yard driver.

According to James, Caleb’s achievement didn’t fully sink in until he shared the news with his mom, Lisa. Now, he proudly shares his hole-in-one feat with anyone who will listen, including his uncle. His father remains thrilled to see Caleb’s enthusiasm. He remains grateful to have experienced a hole-in-one himself, saying it saved him from endless bragging from his proud son.

“Now he doesn’t stop saying it. If he plays with his uncle or anything like that, then he’ll say he’s had a hole-in-one. Luckily I’ve had one, otherwise, I probably wouldn’t hear the end of it,” he said. Certainly a young Rory Mcllroy in the making.
