Who is the new star in the LPGA Tour? The 2025 Blue Bay LPGA has a new name on the top of the leaderboard. Gigi Stoll has come up as a surprise contender for the LPGA Tour event. She was competing with the top women in golf for the title in China.

Stoll has been in the scene for quite some time now. She may not be an LPGA Tour pro during the 2025 Blue Bay LPGA, but she has still left a mark on the Epson Tour during her short stint there. Who is Gigi Stoll?

Gigi Stoll was born on November 28, 1996, at Beaverton, Oregon. That’s where the 28-year-old also completed her High School. Stoll graduated from the Beaverton High School in Tigard, Oregon. During her time there, she won the Oregon Sports Awards Pep Golfer of the Year four times. She also was a Two-time Pacific Northwest Golf Association Women’s Player of the Year and a Junior Player of the Year award winner. After High School, Stoll moved to the University of Arizona to complete her education. That’s where she represented the Arizona Wild Cats golf team. She had quite a few top 10 finishes in the individual and team events during her freshman year in college. Unfortunately, that’s all that her Arizona Wild Cats profile tells us about her.

The Oregon citizen turned pro in 2018. A year later, Stoll joined the Epson Tour in 2019. Since then, she has had her own share of ups and downs in the league. But Stoll has still prevailed and won herself an Epson Tour title at the 2023 Casino Del Sol Golf Classic.

The 28-year-old has also been on and off the LPGA Tour for some time. Stoll has had 13 LPGA Tour appearances throughout her career. She first played in the LPGA Tour at the 2015 Cambia Portland Classic. Still only 19, a young Stoll missed the cut at the event. Overall, Gigi Stoll’s best performance came at the 2025 Founders Cup presented by U.S. Virgin Islands, where she finished T34. The 28-year-old managed a 4-under par 280 to finish 17 strokes off the top of the table. Only a few weeks later, Stoll appeared in the 2025 Blue Bay LPGA and gave the best performance of her career.

Traveling the world with her partner by her side

Gigi Stoll’s Instagram is filled with her golf exploits. But there are glimpses of the LPGA Tour pro with her partner Steph J, which gives the fans a peek at her personal life. Judging by the timeline on both their pages, they have been dating since April 2021. In fact, Stoll even wished her partner on their anniversary on April 6, 2022. So we can assume that they started dating on April 6, 2021. The adorable couple often travel the country together as they have been seen visiting Michigan, Cluster, and even Las Vegas. Speaking of Vegas, the two seem to enjoy karaoke nights as they were seen singing a song together during their trip to the Sin City. What we have also learned looking at their social media is that Steph J’s birthday falls around the birth anniversary of her partner. Just a week after Stoll celebrated her birthday in 2022, Steph also had hers on December 3 of the same year.

Apart from golf, Stoll also seems to enjoy other sports. She was seen attending the Daytona 500 NASCAR race back in 2023. She also indulges in swimming and indoor golf. Speaking of golf, back in 2019, Stoll was seen posing in front of a leaderboard where she is placed at 4th on the table. Interestingly, 2x LPGA Tour winner, Patty Tavatanakit led that table at the Brook-Lea Country Club. Other than that, we learned that Stoll also has a cute pupper named Rocky. Based on her Instagram account, the Rat Terrier celebrated his first birthday on August 10, 2024.
