Seth Waugh decided to step down from the role of PGA of America CEO on Wednesday, June 26. Waugh took up the role back in September 2018, and during his tenure, he ushered in several significant moments. Under his governance, the organization moved its headquarters from Florida to Frisco in 2022, onto a $500 million campus that Waugh has referred to as, the “Silicon Valley of Golf.”

The other children include younger brother Henry and the girls, Daph, Caroline, and Louise. Jane is not very active on social media and chooses to keep her life private, with her Instagram handle having only 9 posts and 93 followers. Despite this, she expresses her feelings and shares her world through art.
Jane’s pursuit of art
Jane is a self-taught artist who has had the benefit of learning from accomplished contemporary artists. She has explored various mediums, including painting and sculpture, and expresses her artistic style through vibrant colors and bold strokes, reflecting her energetic and optimistic personality.
She spent her early adulthood connected to the University of Oregon, which proudly features her work in its permanent collection. Her journey then led her to Charlottesville, Virginia, where she exhibited her art after the tragic loss of her first husband. Jane takes great joy in contributing to charitable causes and, has donated her work to auctions for the University of Oregon Art Museum, the American Red Cross, UNICEF, the Pillow Talk Shop, and several private schools.

Jane maintains a website, where she showcases her artwork gallery, including oil paintings and watercolor pieces. “Watercolor has been and will always be part of my artistic portfolio. Now that so much of my painting time is dedicated to oil painting, I feel as though watercolor is a naked medium where no mistake or error goes unnoticed,” she shared. Jane’s gallery features diverse and vibrant pieces such as “Birds On A Grid,” “Joe’s West Village,” and “A Scottish Sky from one of the best benches in golf.”
In her most recent work, Jane explores the idea that modern technology, especially screens, alters our perception of the world around us. The grids and patterns in her paintings are inspired by the designs she was exposed to during her youth. She uses these elements to create a visual contrast with objects in her paintings, symbolizing the difference between what we want to see, what we think we see, and what is actually there.
Personal life and interests
Apart from her artistic pursuits, Jane loves golf and enjoys spending time with her family on the golf course. Although she chooses to keep her personal life private, glimpses of her candid outings with her family can be seen on her son Clancy’s social media posts. She is often seen at various events, whether supporting Clancy or enjoying family time at golf tournaments.
