Having turned pro in 2005, David Skinns has quite many years as a professional golfer under his belt. He remains winless on the PGA Tour, but he has won three times on KFT. In 2001, the golfer enrolled at the University of Tennessee to study psychology. His time during his college years turned out to be a gift from fate for him, as this was when he crossed paths with Kristen. However, the two didn’t attend the same university, as Kristen has completed her degree in marketing and management from Penn State University.

Fast forward to 2012, the couple finally decided to tie the knot, and today they are blessed with three beautiful kids, named Brayden, Bennett, and Colt, whom they love very much. The golfer likes to enjoy football games with his kids, and their favorite team is the Tennessee Volunteers.

As a family, they like to enjoy the outdoors, be it at the beach or in their backyard. But this does not mean that the couple does not take time for themselves. They also like to enjoy a date night once in a while.

She currently works at Ricoh Global Services as a global consultant. She started in this role in April 2011. Before that, she has also worked as an operations manager at Axiom Staffing Group. She was there at Axiom for about 4 years and 9 months, per her LinkedIn profile. 

Her former client described her as someone with great “professionalism, organizational abilities, and responsiveness.” She is deemed to be a very mature person professionally who can handle all kinds of work situations. All and all, “Kristin is intelligent, hard-working, and a pleasure to work with!”

Though her husband is a famous athlete, Kristin is more of a private person and prefers to stay away from public attention. However, she often proudly posts about her husband’s achievements on her social media.

Just as Skinns is head-over-heels for his wife, Kristin also never misses out on the chance to show her admiration for her partner. This year marked Skinns’s debut at the PLAYERS Championship, and his wife was happy about it. Acknowledging the hard work that golfer has put in, she wrote, “To say that this week is special is an understatement. Regardless of the outcome, I’m proud of David Skinns and the example he sets for our boys every day. It’s not about the instant success but rather that work that you put in when no one is watching.”

2 years ago, when David Skinns earned his PGA Tour card after finishing top 50 in the Korn Ferry Tour’s 2020-21 season, she was “proud” of him. “I am incredibly proud of what he has already achieved and what he is going to do in the future competing against the best players in the world,” wrote Kristin.

Not just off-course, but Mrs. Skinn is also often seen supporting her husband on course along with her kids. Recently, she was seen cheering for her husband at The Cognizant Classic 2024. Despite coming from two entirely different career paths, both Kristin and David have managed to build a relationship based on mutual admiration, immense gratitude, and a strong sense of privacy.
