Chez Reavie is currently standing out at the Travelers Championship with an excellent performance. He began the third round on Saturday with seven birdies in his first 13 holes and took advantage of a stretch in the middle of the round. After a high-voltage exhibition, he is sitting on T2 at TPC River Highlands.

Since turning pro in 2004, Reavie has come a long way. His win at the 2008 RBC Canadian Open earned him a two-year exemption to remain on the PGA Tour. But after that, he has suffer a lot of physical pain which made a huge impact on his career.

Chez Reavie‘s supportive spouse and her role in his career

Chez Reavie is married to his high school sweetheart and long-time girlfriend Amanda Henrichs. Born in 1982, Henrichs also attended Dobson High School in Mesa, Arizona, the same school that Chez did. She graduated from Arizona State University same as Chez. For them, their relationship was just meant to be from very early on in their lives. The couple decided to make their relationship official as they got married in 2009 at Royal Farms in Scottsdale. Later Amanda said that they couldn’t enjoy their honeymoon due to Chez’s matches. Besides being a homemaker, Amanda is also an entrepreneur and owns a clothing business where her husband has also collaborated with her. She is a good cook and likes to try out different cuisines.

Chez has one of the biggest supporters in Amanda who has always been there for him. She also comes with him to his matches to provide moral support to her husband. After his knee surgery in 2010 caused him to hold back, Reavie enjoyed moderate success in the next year. Then a left wrist surgery cost him many events during the 2013–14 season. During the 2014–15 season, he was granted 24 starts to satisfy a medical extension. After that, he worked on his game and brought a lot of improvement. Currently, he is ranked as world no. 95. During all these hardships Amanda has been Chez’s rock and been a constant source of strength for him.

Henrichs’s presence throughout Revie’s PGA Tours wins and their emphasis on privacy

Henrichs has acted as a friend, guide, and even business manager for Chez whenever the roles required to be filled. Being a good husband, Chez acknowledged his wife’s support in his career and life

In 2019, Chez made a breakout victory at the Travelers Championship which was supported publicly by Henrichs. After his victory at the tournament, Reavie gave an exclusive interview to Golf.com, during which he spoke about spending more money on Amanda for her efforts toward his career.

Prior to that, Reavie made his first PGA Tour victory in 2008 at the RBC Canadian Open when the couple were still dating. His third PGA Tour win came most recently in 2022 when Reavie became the first player in his 40s to win at the Barracuda Championship.

Both husband and wife are extremely reserved people and like to maintain privacy when it comes to their personal life. Amanda does not maintain a presence on any social media platform, whereas Chez has an Instagram account on which he rarely posts, and even when he does it is all golf-related stuff.

Reavie may not have tasted the success of winning at the major tournaments, but he has had a stable career. In 2019, he finished on T3 at the US Open at Pebble Beach Golf Links which was a big deal for his career. It was the first time in his PGA Tour career that he had placed in the top 10 in a major championship.

In other events, he has tried his best to remain at least in the Top 50 cut. Reavie is showing an exhilarating performance at the Travelers Championship once again this year. If he keeps it up then with Henrichs support by his side, he might be able to repeat his 2019 history of winning at the event.
