Chad Ramey: From Little Town Origins to PGA Tour Professional

Chad Ramey was born on August 3, 1992, in Tupelo, Mississippi, and grew up in the tight-knit Fulton neighborhood. For the Ramey family, golf was a way of life rather than just a hobby. Located directly on the course was the family house of Stanley Ramey, his father, who was the superintendent of the nearby Fulton Country Club. With his father serving as both his first coach and mentor, Chad’s unusual upbringing enabled him to become fully involved in the sport from an early age. Due to his love of golf, Chad attended Mississippi State University to improve his abilities and earn a degree in financial planning, risk management, and insurance. Significant intellectual and athletic progress occurred during his college years, providing a strong basis for his future career goals.
