After graduating, Hill continued to work as a men’s assistant golf coach at the university while pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration. He decided to become a professional in April 2017 after using this time to hone his abilities. His victories at the 2017 Arizona Open and the San Juan Open were just what he needed.

With a good 61st-place performance in 2018, Hill made his breakthrough on the international scene by qualifying for the U.S. Open. His continued on the Challenge Tour, where he won three championships: the Made in Denmark Challenge in 2019, the Euram Bank Open, and the Galgorm Resort & Spa Northern Ireland Open in 2018. His advancement to the 2020 European Tour was from all of this. In August 2021, Hill won the Cazoo Classic for the first time on the European Tour, finishing one stroke ahead of Alexander Lévy with a final-round score of 67. This catapulted him into the top 100 of the World Rankings for the first time.

Hill went from eight strokes behind to a share of the lead at 14 under par after his final-round 62, which featured an amazing eleven birdies.

After striking his second shot into water from a fairway bunker, Norris, who had been leading by four shots overnight, lost the chance to compete. Hill then missed his birdie putt off the green and tapped in for par. To prolong the playoffs, Kruyswijk had to make a three-foot par putt, but he pushed it right. Hill reflected on his victory, saying, “It was a fantastic day and then a cherry on top.”

Hill, who holds the No. 286 ranking, won his second European tour victory after winning the Cazoo Classic in 2021. He set the clubhouse target at 14 under with a score of 8-under 62. Kruyswijk (66), who was looking for his second win in three weeks after winning the Magical Kenya Open last month, entered the playoffs first, followed by Norris, who finished with a round of 70 after two birdies in the final three holes.
