Caleb Surratt has had a great 2024. The 20-year-old joined forces with experienced veterans like Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton for Legion XIII. They were also able to capture the LIV Golf championship as they reached the finals.

Life on the course has been cruising for the young pro, and he is enjoying every bit of it. While he still has a huge learning curve, he also has the time available to become one of the best himself. But it’s not only his exploits in golf that have been the highlight of his life.

A few weeks ago, reports confirmed that the young University of Tennessee starlet has hit a major milestone in his personal life as well. Caleb Surratt got married to his longtime partner and fellow golfer, Kayla Surratt (previously Kayla Holden). The two possibly met at the University of Tennessee and tied the knot on November 22, 2024. Now that it is confirmed, fans would love to know who Kayla Surratt is. So let’s take a deep dive into the life of the LIV Golf star’s wife.

Kayla Surratt was born on Oct. 26, 2001, to Russ and Colleen Holden. Yes, she is a few years older than her husband, Caleb Surratt who was born in 2004. Her hometown is Port St. Lucie, Florida. She played golf in her high school and had quite a few accomplishments as a junior. Kayla continued her dream at UT, where she averaged 74.33 over four years. As per her university profile, she had 5 top-10 finishes, and her lowest score was 66 in the 2023-24 season.

Mrs. Surratt has also had quite a few achievements away from her university. One of her biggest wins came somewhere between her sophomore and junior years when Kayla captured the 2022 Sea Island Women’s Amateur trophy. She shared her achievement on her social media handle as she was “incredibly honored to win” the tournament.

Kayla has had a busy 2024, as she has participated in 9 WAGR events already. Her strongest finish came in the Florida Women’s Amateur Championship 2024, where she finished 3rd. She has also participated in the 2024 US Women’s Amateur Championship 2024 qualifier, where she finished with a score of 73. Kayla is currently ranked 320th on the WAGR table with nearly 630 points.

During her time at the University of Tennessee, Kayla seemed to have formed a friend group of her fellow women golfers. We can see pictures of them in some of Kayla’s posts. She seems to share a great bond with her niece, as there are a few pictures of the two. She seems to be an adventurous person, as there is a picture of her on top of a hill in active gear.

It looks like Kayla also enjoys watching football. One of her pictures shows her visiting a football match in which the field is covered in the colors of the University of Tennessee. Kayla Surratt is seen wearing the Lady Volunteers jacket in a post of hers from May 18, 2024. This indicates that she also indulges in social work to help those in need.

Like any loving couple, Kayla also has pictures of Caleb Surratt on her Instagram as the two go on social adventures together. Their slideshow of the 2023 Christmas celebrations is worth catching for the beautifully lit New York City. The pair also share the course and are seen fishing or spending a day on the beach in their time of leisure.

Caleb Surratt proposed to Kayla Holden in July 2024. Announcing the same, the couple wrote, “7/16/24•  Genesis 2:18  “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.”” The two have tied the know, and are beyond happy, especially the golfer.

The couple got married on November 22. Expressing his joy, Surratt said, “Honestly, it’s taken a lot of stress off and allowed me to be as free as possible. I know no matter how I play, she’s going to be there for me when I get back.”
