Scott Tway hails from Oklahoma City and boasts a great golf background himself. His older brother, Bob Tway, is famous for winning the 1986 PGA Championship with a thrilling shot against Greg Norman. Scott was on the bag for his older brother when the latter won the 1995 Heritage Classic.

The well-known caddie is extremely well-versed in the sport, having played college golf at Georgia Southern. Owing to his experience, he has been key to Brian Harman’s successes on the course. Despite caddying for Harman for over a decade, Scott wasn’t there to witness Harman lift his first-ever PGA Tour title at the 2014 John Deere Classic.

During the golfer’s first round at the tournament, the renowned bagman had to exit due to health issues. He was then temporarily replaced by a local high school softball and basketball coach, Jay Hatch. But the close relationship between Harman and Scott came to light during the golfer’s second PGAT win at the 2017 Wells Fargo Championship.

In that tournament, Harman bested Dustin Johnson and Pat Perez by one stroke to win the title. Following his win, Scott said, “I was going through the same thing as him, so I’m excited for him. It’s exciting for me and for both of us to come together in the high five. It was fun; it was a rush.

At this point, we’re like an old married couple,” confessed the player. Even his mother, Nancy Harman, threw light on their special bond, saying, “They are like magic together.
