The Origins of Bowen Mauss
Born in 2007 (yes, he is that young), Bowen Mauss lives in Draper. He is in his last year at the Corner Canyon High School as a high school senior. Mauss is also determined to play golf for the Arizona State college team. To add to his accomplishments, he is also a part of the excellent class of 2025 in Utah. He is accompanied there by Sean Lampropoulos, Kihei Akina, and Jackson Shelley. We can sense a hint of rivalry as they have been competing with each other for quite some time.
Regarding his friendly rivalry with the three, Mauss said “I think we all push each other to be better. When one of us starts playing good, it definitely shows the others that we can also play well.” It’s great for a young kid to have such a great healthy attitude towards professional rivalries. Mauss’ 342-yard eagle was recently shared by USGA in an Instagram reel.
