Mark Fulcher is a veteran caddie on the PGA Tour. He has been on the tour for more than two decades, and during his term has been on the bag for notable players. He is among the outspoken caddies on the tour and called out the use of rangefinders at the 2021 PGA Championship. Mark also called out PGA Tour Pro Dylan Frittelli for practicing in the space reserved for Arnold Palmer on social media. Before Fulcher started working with Billy, he has been on the bag of former world no.1 player, Justin Rose.

Fulcher and Rose had worked together for 11 years from 2008 to 2019 during which Justin made 8 victories on the tour and accomplished his first major at the US Open in 2013. At the event, Rose won the tournament by two over Mickelson and Jason Day armed with the aid of Fulcher by his side.
Apart from that, Mark has also assisted Rose in multiple top-10 finishes at other major tournaments and several wins on the PGA Tour and the European Tour. In 2019, as Justin Rose made his debut at the Desert Classic, that week Fulcher went to New York for his heart surgery.
Mark’s heart surgery and working with Billy Horschel
Mark underwent a heart valve replacement following which he took time off for recovery. After that, Rose had Gareth Lord as his caddie for some time. The same year in May, Rose announced their separation as Mark needed time to recover. Days after his surgery he gave a telephonic interview in which he explained how the healing is taking time. He said, “You wake up and the heart is in better shape than the sternum. So obviously, lifting bags and such, you know, it’s still quite painful. it should be almost completely repaired now.”
After parting ways with Rose, Fulcher was a caddie for Francesco Molinari and worked with him for around 19 months. After that the due parted ways because of unmet expectations.
When exactly Fulcher started working with Billy is not known but it is presumed that it is somewhere between March to September in the year 2021. The first time Fulcher was seen working with Horschel was in September 2021 ahead of the race to Dubai.
