Will McGee, the 13-year-old, has been the show stealer after the first-round performance at the PNC Championship. He is the youngest player on the field which even the PGA Tour praised by sharing a post on X. After the first round, the post, including a video, was shared with the caption, “Will McGee is a birdie machine! The 13-year-old’s best highlights from Round 1 @PNCChampionship.”

The team was able to finish with 10-under 62 after the first round. Even Annika Sorenstam found her son’s performance impressive. She shared during the press conference with ASAP Sports, “Well, I like the way he putts, very aggressive and he feels very confident. He’s a nice partner to have on the greens but also on the fairway, and today overall, we had a great time.” While Team Annika is still aiming to come up to the leaderboard as Team Woods has already started to increase the lead.
