Jordan Spieth hasn’t won a championship title since the 2021 Valero Texas Championship. While he struggles to get good outcomes as a pro golfer, he is having a more difficult time being a new father. Or at least that’s what the former professional golfer Paige Spiranac thought after seeing his family picture.
“Did you see that the picture of Jordan Spieth holding his child, though? On Instagram?” Spiranac asked the golf analyst Amanda Rose on her podcast ‘Playing a Round with Paige Renee.’ “Like he has never held a baby before.”

Jordan Spieth and his wife, Annie, welcomed their first child, Sammy Spieth, on the 14th of November, 2021. The golfer had informed the happy news with the public through his social media. However, ever since then, he hasn’t posted his child’s photo until recently.

Speith, his wife, and their son took part in the famous par-3 contest at the Augusta National before the Masters. The golfer shared his picture with his family on Instagram, with him holding the baby.
Paige Spiranac has an interesting take on Spieth holding his baby
“He looked like he’s never held a baby before. It was the funniest thing,” Spiranac said about the picture.
She further compared the photo with the photo of the model, Emily Ratajkowski, holding her baby. The model has received a lot of criticism for the way she held her then 3-month-old son.
Ratajkowski, too, had posted her picture on Instagram. She had to disable the comment section after people began to call her out for not properly holding the baby, and later, remove the post.

“It’s like who held the baby worse,” Spiranac added. “It was so funny.”

Considering his results at the Masters last week, the only time Spieth had fun was when he was with his family at the par-3 contest.

Generally, the golfer always plays his best golf at the Masters. In his 8 starts before 2022, Spieth not only has won once but has finished under the Top 10 five times. Moreover, he also has made the cut every time. However, he lost his streak.
Spieth scored an overall score of 6-over par at the 2022 Masters. He missed the cutline by two strokes.
