The America Professional golfer has had a record of making it to the headlines for his actions during the game. Nonetheless, he recently scored his second hole-in-one, but golf fans are not willing to applaud him. Instead, the news of him making the amazing shot is receiving all kinds of mixed reactions.

Golf fans react to Patrick Reed’s hole-in-one

Patrick Reed was recently playing at the LIV International Series in Singapore, where he hit a spectacular shot scoring a hole-in-one. The Asian Tour shared the big news on Twitter saying “(Patrick Reed) just made the second hole-in-one of the week on the 14th!”

The tweet went viral soon after the Asian Tour shared it and golf fans are still giving reactions to the golfer’s achievement. However, the reactions are not the kind that Reed would like. In fact, fans were sure that Reed couldn’t make that shot without his hidden tricks. A person even said, “I’m sure he cheated somehow”. While some simply disregarded the player and said “Who cares?”

Reed recently expressed that he is fed up with listening to all the rumors about him joining the LIV Golf tour primarily for money. And in reaction to these never ending allegations, he said, “I can tell you this much: the guys who are out there, it doesn’t matter what the dollar amount is – to be honest with you, as the players we’re sick and tired of hearing about that”

He also mentioned how his biggest motive for joining the LIV Golf league is the growth of the game. “The only way to grow the game is to get outside and go places and I’ve always loved to travel and play and to be able to play events like this is a treat for me,” he stated.

Like other LIV Golf rebels, Patrick Reed has also lost a lot of his fans. However, the golf community on social media already accused him of so much even before he joined the Saudi-backed tour. But his reactions to all the accusations have been in his defense and he has been able to get away with controversies every time.
