As per the post shared by Flushing It Golf on Instagram, Tiger Woods just has one minor matter that he wishes for his son to improve on. The golfer revealed that he doesn’t like it when Charlie stares at his phone all day and keeps his head down. As per Woods, when Charlie keeps his head down and is glued to his screen, he misses out on the beauty of the world.

He confessed, “I just don’t like the fact that he stares at his phone all the time. Put your phone away and just look around. That’s one of the things that I think all parents struggle with is most kids don’t look up anymore. Everyone is looking down. Look around you, just look up.”

Woods didn’t stop here; he further expressed his concern about how people, especially kids,  are changing their perspective on life as many individuals view the world through screens. This shift in perspective bothers him because he believes there are so many beautiful things to see and experience in the real world.

Talking about how it bothers him, the almost 48-year-old golfer said that he gets annoyed and “it drives me nuts at times.” From his confession, it seems that the only reason why the 5x Masters champion wants his son to look up and enjoy the picturesque world is because “there are so many things around you that are so beautiful at the same time.”

Woods’s parenting style is much like that of his father, Earl Woods, who passed away in 2006. The father and son shared a special bond, as Earl played a crucial role in Woods’s journey. It was the golfer’s father who instilled a sense of curiosity, confidence, and discipline in him.

Back in 2017, the 15x major champion opened up about his father and shared a lot of things about him, as well as his mother. He talked about the kind of role they both played in the household, and they encouraged him. The golfer shared that none of his parents would pressure him into playing golf or would say anything to him if he failed to perform someday.
