Talor Gooch and Harold Varner III are close friends who often play together being a part of the same RangeGoats GC Team. Recently, there’s been some buzz about the Ryder Cup and who gets to play in it. Gooch has been doing really well, winning three LIV Golf events this year. But him being part of the Saudi backed league is a big question on his Ryder Cup chances.

Gooch hopes he can still get picked for the Ryder Cup, even if the US captain, Zach Johnson, made some comments that didn’t seem too keen on LIV players.

Amid the stress, Gooch seems to be calm in the chaos. Instead, he recently shared a fun post on social media. He posted Harold’s picture bowling and tagged him joking about an old memory from 2014. Gooch wrote, “My dwang Varner, Circa 2014, y’all don’t want this bowling smoke.” It seems like Gooch is teasing Varner about a past bowling game or joke they had.
