Peiyun Chien has created a storm in the golfing fraternity with her 8 under-par round at LPGA’s Kroger Queen City Championship. Not every day in the world of golf that we get to witness boggy free rounds. The Taiwanese golfer made six birdies, and one eagle on the sixth hole to finish at eight under for the day.
Such a powerful round clearly helped her climb up the leaderboard resulting in her leading the event with a four-shot margin. The golfer first got her LPGA card for the 2017 season and played over 29 events in which she successfully made the cut in 16 events. However, this event has been different for her.

In the post-round two press conference, she was asked about a wonderful bogey-free round she had. Peiyun Chien said, “I just putt very well these two days.”
Further, she also admitted that she had an amazing eagle which was probably because she had many close misses in the past few weeks and that conditioned her to the pressure of an eagle putt.
This being her lowest round so far, she was asked what changed to culminate in this performance. She could point out one thing straight away without much thought. “I change driver this week and it works very well. And I always change my putter. If anyone knows me I change every week, but I keep the same putter already eight tournaments, so I’m very proud of myself.”
She ended the interview by saying that she is going to take one shot at a time heading into the third round with a four-shot lead. She also pointed that she will go back to her country and prepare to represent it at the Asian Games.
However, Peiyun Chien is not the only one in this event who has been carding bogey-free rounds.
