There have been famous siblings in golf who have made quite the name for themselves. Be it the Molinari brothers or the Jutanugarn sisters, many siblings have left their marks in the annals of golf. But none has quite been able to match the feat of the Australian brother-sister duo, Minjee Lee and her PGA Tour pro brother.
The Australian pros made history when they won two tournaments in back-to-back weeks. While the younger brother bagged his title first in Macau, his sister soon caught up with him in Seoul.

Minjee Lee & her younger brother achieve a historical feat
Minjee Lee bagged her 10th LPGA Tour victory at the recently concluded BMW Ladies championship beating Allison Lee in the playoff. The US$330,000 victory was sweet since it came in her parent’s homeland.
This was her second win this season, after the Kroger Queen City Championship victory in early September. But her win was also sweeter because it followed her brother’s third International win at the SJM Macacu Open.
Min Woo Lee, the younger sibling, netted his first title in two years at the Macau Golf and Country Club. He smashed the tournament’s earlier record of the lowest total of 20 under by an enviable margin with his 30-under on the course of his US$180,000 victory. Min Woo Lee carried the momentum to this week’s Zozo Championship as well in Japan, where he finished sixth on the leaderboard.

How have other famous siblings performed this year?
Brooks Koepka and Chase Koepka are one of the most famous of the golf world’s siblings. They even play on the same team at LIV Golf. However, they sit miles away from each other on the leaderboard, courtesy of Chase Koepka’s dismal form. Whereas the five-time Major winner won two events in LIV golf this season, finishing at the third position on the leaderboard, his younger brother now faces relegation from the tournament.
Nelly Korda and Jessica Korda are other famous siblings on the LPGA tour. The younger sister had an up-and-down year this season. The eight-time LPGA-Tour winner returned to World Ranking one before slipping up again. Despite starting with a bang, Nelly Korda’s form has faltered over the last few months.

Whereas, Jessica Korda, the six-time LPGA tour winner, has taken a break from her professional career due to pregnancy. The duo has appeared together in two Solheim Cups, however, in 2019 and 2021.
