Bernardus Golf set to welcome the 2026 Solheim Cup 

Golf lovers, get ready to witness golfing glory as the Netherlands prepares to host the 2026 Solheim Cup for the first time. The prestigious event will be played at the stunning Bernardus Golf in Cromvoirt. The tournament dates have been announced by the Ladies European Tour on their X handle: September 7–13, 2026, will mark the 20th edition of the coveted tournament. 

The venue holds a significant name as a challenging 18-hole championship golf course. Bernardus was designed by the well-known American architect Kyle Phillips. He is also known for his competitive, world-famous designs like Kingsbarns, The Grove, and Yas Links.

Now, with the dates announced, preparations for the 2026 event have already started at the golf club. Robert van der Wallen, the owner of Bernardus, eagerly awaits hosting this world-class event. He noted, “With the date set, we are full speed ahead with our preparations to welcome this great event to Bernardus for the 20th edition in 2026. We have enjoyed experiencing our first U.S. Solheim Cup edition this week at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club, and our team will take all the experience garnered there, as well as from our visit to Finca Cortesin in 2023, to ensure we deliver what we aim to be the best European edition to date.”

The course has hosted three consecutive editions of the KLM Dutch Open on the DP World Tour, from 2021 to 2023.
