The 2024 Lotte Championship will be played on the same golf course it was played on last year. That’s right, the Hoakalei Country Club, designed by Ernie Els, will be the stage of the 4-day competition. This will be the third time the Hawaii-based country club will host the tournament. Apart from Hoakalei CC, the tournament has also been played at the Ko Olina Golf Club for 8 seasons before COVID and the Kapolei Golf Club in 2021.

This year’s venue has 18 holes of 72 par across the luscious fields of Ewa Beach. The course is also surrounded by a beautiful beach on one side. At 7,413 yards, this is the longest course in Hawaii and is packed with lush greens, beautiful lakes, and 112 tricky bunkers. This 726-acre large resort community is adjacent to the Pacific Ocean.

Still under construction, the club will soon feature waterfront activities like surfing, entertainment, and other recreational activities. Guests will also be able to kayak and learn stand-up paddleboarding. The blueprints of the world’s largest deep-water standing surf wave are also ready, as the club plans to provide the most exhilarating surfing experience in a safer environment. There are also plans to construct a 52-acre area with lagoons, coffee houses, eateries, and more called the Wai Kai recreational zone.

The entire community also includes residential zones where staycationers can enjoy the abundance of experiences available at the Hoakelei Country Club. So those who are planning to visit the club to watch the tournament can also plan to extend their trips for a much more extravagant vacation.
