As tweeted by Jeff Eisenband, it seems that she may have chosen the university she is going to study at after completing high school. The tweet read, “On the @PNCchampionship broadcast, Dan Hicks just said Tiger Woods’ daughter Sam, who is caddying for him this week, will be attending Stanford University next year. Tiger played golf for the Cardinal from 1994-1996.”
Although Sam Woods or Tiger Woods have not hinted at anything as such themselves, Dan Hicks is a reliable enough source to trust the information. That means that after completing her school at Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens, Sam might be moving to California to study at Stanford. It does not come as a surprise to the fans of Tiger Woods as the GOAT himself was enrolled in the same university. The 82X PGA Tour winner joined Stanford University in 1994 and excelled in sports among other subjects during his time there.
What is interesting though is the fact that Stanford University is not particularly known for its soccer and track teams. They are known for golf, football, swimming and other sports. Those are the sports Sam Woods indulges in at her high school. She has also been trained in golf by her father and other coaches during her childhood. Could it be that Sam Woods might be following her father’s footsteps once she starts university? Only time will tell.
