LIV Golf has announced the much awaited venue for its promotions event set to happen in the coming weeks. As per Golfweek, the LIV Golf inaugural promotions event will be hosted at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club in the United Arab Emirates. The event will commence from December 8th and will go on till the 10th of December. This will give the golf world three full days of watching their favourite golfers displaying their scenic shots at Abu Dhabi Golf Club.

The jam-packed event will feature four rounds with a total of 36 holes to play for on the last day. Talking about finances, the event will have a purse of around $1.5 million. Most importantly, this event will provide an opportunity for three golfers to obtain their nod for the 2024 league. Interestingly, the LIV Golf promotional event will coincide with many other Tour’s events. This event will take place at the same time as the Grand Thornton Invitational, which will be held in Florida. At the same time, Leopard Creek Country Club will be hosting the DP World Tour’s Alfred Dunhill Championship in South Africa. It will be interesting to see which of the three events will act as the major crowd puller as the merger deadline approaches.
