Although the professional had a bumpy year of sorts in 2023, she has been a fan favorite among many enthusiasts in the golf community. However, a lot of her followers have been curious as to her whereabouts over the past few days. And now, the golfer herself shared an update on the internet, a little while ago, showing us a glimpse of her bearings, much to the surprise of her fans!

Even though Kang has not managed to register any wins in 2023, she has shown amazing tenacity and skills on the course as she finished a total of three times inside the top-10 over the year. And now, the golfer seems set to take on another challenge as she shared an update on her social media handle.
A story was uploaded by the 31-year-old on her Instagram, not too long ago, giving us a peek into her life. The snap shared by the 6X LPGA Tour champ showed herself in the streets of Tokyo along with her fellow athlete Andrea Lee and another friend Bryan Martin.
The 1X major winner is all set to take part in the upcoming Toto Japan Classic that is set to take place in the Taiheiyo Club Minori Course this week. The current world No. 38 would need to be on her toes if she is to emerge victorious in the field of 78 athletes and take home the winner’s cut from the $2 million event.
Well, Kang would really need to step up her game if she is to have a chance at the trophy this time around. The golfer had a rough year after her last LPGA Tour win in 2022.
Kang’s best performances in 2023

The American’s best finish in 2023 came off at the Aramco Team Series Singapore — Individual in Singapore where she finished as a runner-up. The athlete was able to register a score of 11-under 205 over the three rounds during the event. The golfer was also able to put up a commendable performance in the Solheim Cup despite America narrowly losing out on the title.
The 2017 Women’s PGA Championship winner finished with figures of 2-2-0 during the biennial event. She emerged victorious against Europe’s Celine Boutier and Georgia Hall during the Friday Foursomes and also managed a win against Charley Hull in the Singles match. However, the professional lost in her Saturday Foursomes and fourballs against the pairs of Maja Stark-Linn Grant, and Carlota Ciganda-Grant respectively.
