Paige Spiranac, 29 year old former professional golfer, is now a Youtube golf instructor and influencer with over 3.6 million followers on Instagram, with her YouTube channel about to reach the 300k subscribers threshold. But there is something very few people are aware of about her.

Not a lot of us know about her educational background. Not much is known about where she studied or graduated from. The Golf beauty has achieved a lot in her social media career, she does not play professionally, but her love for golf was evident right from her college days. Had she not taken up professional golf as a career, she would have been the assistant coach of her college team. But what changed all of that? Let’s find out.

The educational background of Paige Spiranac

Paige Spiranac was born on March 1993 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Sports and performance comes to her naturally; her father was a football player that won the 1976 NCAA National Championship with the Pittsburgh Panthers and her mother was a ballet dancer.

Spiranac played golf during college, first at the University of Arizona before transferring to San Diego State University. She was part of the SDSU Aztec’s first-ever Mountain West Conference Championship in 2015. The internet sensation was pursuing a communications degrees but couldn’t finish it, as she left the last semester to play golf.

Spiranac was supposed to return and finish her semester. If she had done that, the golf beauty would have become the assistant coach of the female golf team at the University of Arizona. But then she went viral and became an internet celebrity and never returned to university to finish her graduation.

Spiranac’s professional golf journey

Spiranac then played professionally, but her stint was short. She started dedicating a considerable portion of her time to modeling and posting pictures and videos online, including golf-related ones, like trick shots and instructional footage.

The ex-pro golfer was a top player even before she started college. She received the West Region Player of Year award twice from Future Collegians World Tour. She additionally competed in the U.S. Girls’ Junior Amateur three times and qualified four times for the Junior PGA Championship.

But Spiranac eventually retired from professional golf in December 2016, owing to the fact that she didn’t think she could compete with the amazing talent in the golf world.
