Winners of the PGA Tour events from the previous year usually compete in this event, and Scheffler’s numerous wins in 2024 guaranteed him a spot in the elite field. Two weeks after the Sentry Tournament, Scheffler is going to play in California at The American Express. Additionally, he intends to take an additional week off before participating in three tournaments in a row. These include the Genesis Invitational (February 13–16), the WMPhoenix Open (February 6–9), and the AT&TPebble Beach Pro-Am (January 30–February 2). The 2024 season began with Scheffler adhering to the same schedule. Four of those five events saw him place in the top 10, and his best result was a T3 in the Phoenix Open. Scheffler is also anticipated to play in other important events, such as The Players Championship, during which he will be defending the title he won and continue on his phenomenal run, and the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March. Scheffler also intends to try for a third green jacket at the Masters Tournament, which will take place at Augusta National Golf Club from April 10–13.
