Can Rose Zhang's Solheim Cup success propel her to dominate the LPGA Tour? What do you think?

The US team defeated Europe by 15.5 to 12.5. This is the first time they came out victorious after their domination in 2017. While Stacy Lewis was responsible for bringing together the perfect team for revenge, some of the players also stood out with their performances. Rose Zhang was one such player that had a significant impact on the win. She led all the players by winning 28 holes. She only lost eight of them.

There is a +20 difference in the score, and that is a record for the Solheim Cup event in the last 10 years. She defeated Jessica Korda’s record who won 29 holes and lost 15 of them back in 2019. After her feat of victory at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club, what is next in store for the LPGA Tour Pro?

After the Solheim Cup, the LPGA Tour has the Kroger Queen City Championship by P&G lined up from September 19 to September 22. It will be hosted at the TPC River’s bend in Ohio, and they have released their final field just a few days ago. Rose Zhang is ranked 9th on the Rolex World Rankings list and is 16th on the Race to CME Globe list.

She has automatically qualified for the 144-player field in the top 80 criteria and will be competing against top players like Nelly Korda, Lilia Vu, Lydia Ko, and others. Last year, after playing for the American team in September, she directly appeared at the Buick LPGA Shanghai almost after a month’s break. Looks like this year, she has added a new event to her schedule.
