Let’s all quickly think back to the best golf documentary we have ever watched. We can bet that Full Swing falls somewhere on your list as well. The documentary series gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at the players and tournaments of the PGA Tour. Since its inception, the series has enjoyed a successful run in 2024 with its season 2. With attention back on the golfing world, Netflix has just released details about Full Swing’s 3rd season. Let’s take a quick look at what we know so far.
According to Netflix, the season will officially premiere on February 25th. Although the streaming hours dropped in season 2 (28 million) compared to season 1 (53.1 million), the documentary series was still one of the highest-streamed documentaries last year. Given the success of the previous two seasons, the streaming giant first announced the season back in Sep 2024, and fans have been eagerly anticipating season 3 since then. The series will be available to stream on Netflix.
But hold on. That’s not all that Netflix has disclosed. This season, fans will get to know a diverse group of golfers, following their wins and losses, as well as their families and friends. The previous two seasons had a stunning list of golfers in the cast with Joel Dahmen and Geno Bonalie. But this season will likely make it even harder to choose a favorite. According to the cast list released by Netflix, the season will include big names from the golfing world, including world No 1 Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau, and Rory Mcllroy. Big names like Ludvig Aberg, Rickie Fowler, and Keegan Bradley, among many others, will also be present. Well, Netflix, take away all of our money!
