Bryson DeChambeau has had a couple of difficult weeks on tour. With injuries troubling the young PGA Tour star, DeChambeau certainly struggled to perform consistently. However, looking at recent reports, DeChambeau might be on his way to making a comeback soon.

One of the most popular golf icons, DeChambeau’s game, is always appreciated. Furthermore, injuries and withdrawals from tournaments are always a sign of worry. DeChambeau, however, seems to be recovering with time.

When will Bryson DeChambeau play again?

As per reports, Bryson DeChambeau might return during the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play. An important tournament on the PGA Tour schedule, DeChambeau’s return will be crucial.

The PGA Tour released a report on the same, adding that DeChambeau’s return is sooner than someone might expect. DeChambeau is apparently a part of the field while at the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play, which will be held at the Austin Country Club in Texas.

“I don’t want to go out there and hurt myself even more and not be 100% ready for the rest of the season,” he said on social media. “I don’t want to come back early and then have to take more time off, so it’s a hard decision I have to make right now.”

As of yet, many of his injuries have caused him to miss the Farmers Insurance Open in late January, the Players Championship, and the Arnold Palmer Invitational. This has been due to his wrist injury, which is yet to recover 100%. That being said, the only match-play event can be a good chance.

Unfortunately, a worry lies with the fact that Bryson has been gone for too long.

Which event did DeChambeau play next?

He last played the Farmer Insurance next, technically not missing any event for a long time. DeChambeau missed the CUT, his highest win being the Hero World Challenge. Additionally, DeChambeau has also withdrawn after committing to a tournament.

While he seems to be in better shape, one cannot confirm that he won’t back out. After all, a player needs to be careful with injuries.
