A day after the accident, Mickelson took his social media to wish the goat a speedy recovery. He explained in his tweet how Tiger and his family had to go through such an event. The tweet attracted many golf fans as they all appreciated this post from Phil.

Phil Mickelson supports Rory McIlroy’s statement on Tiger Woods’ accident!

Mickelson once again talked about Tiger’s accident in the press meets before the 2021 Cologuard Classic. Mickelson said that everybody knows what Tiger has done for the golf and PGA Tour, in particular. So, this time is not to appreciate that.

Mickelson acknowledged Rory McIlroy‘s statement on the accident. He said, “I thought Rory McIlroy said it well when he said that we’re lucky and appreciative that his kids didn’t lose their father.” He further explained that the pictures from the accident were terrifying and is thankful that Tiger is still with us.
Relationship between Phil Mickelson and Woods
Mickelson and Woods had a stable relationship with each other. They both used every opportunity to trash-talk at each other. However, everything changed after they participated in the 2016 Ryder Cup together. After the event, the duo began to play together for private events like The Match: Champions for Charity. The pair raised around $20 million for the covid relief fun through that event.
