When John Daly Drew Parallels Between Donald Trump and Jesus Christ: ‘Just Wants to Help People’

As is well known, Donald Trump and John Daly have been friends for a long while now. Daly is a long-time Trump supporter. The pro-golfer popularly known as “Long John” was staunchly in favor of Trump during the elections.

John Daly is famous for his exceptionally long backswing as well as for the inconsistency of his play. His personal life is more often on the news. So obviously when he made such a bold statement about the former President of the United States, it garnered attention.

John Daly draws an insane comparison involving Donald trump

Daly‘s personal life is a matter of discussion more often than not. The pro golfer is not unknown for making controversial statements. Recently, he drew a comparison between Jesus and Trump.

John said, “Trump wins and it ends cause he’s like me and Jesus we love everyone.’’ 

Well, this is not John Daly’s first time making a controversial statement like this. However, this time the pro golfer did go a little overboard when he involved Jesus Christ himself in drawing a comparison!

But, he also compared Trump to himself. Although it is probably okay for him to do so, considering Trump and Daly have been friends for decades now.

Daly stated, “Trump is my friend I’ve known since 92 so I call him DADDY TRUMP.” 

The former POTUS’ love for golf is not unknown to anyone. Jesus or not, Daly did make rounds for his equation with. Trump by his controversial statement.

Daly and his recent comments on LIV Golf

John Daly has accepted in the past that he wants to play for the Saudi-backed LIV Golf. Long John was not scared to admit the appeal LIV Money had for him. As a matter of fact, LIV Golf has been offering hefty amounts to players from around the world.

He said, “I play two to three pro-ams every week on the Champions Tour and we don’t play for a lot of money on the Champions Tour, so I almost feel like, ‘OK, I’m not getting a lot out of this. What are we doing?'” 

LIV Money is attractive and Daly’s demands probably do not feel all too unnecessary after all.
