So, how was Justin Thomas’s PGA Tour season this year? Ah, now that hits the spot. When it comes to JT’s game, no one’s questioning his swings—they’re still as sharp as ever. But it feels like fate is not exactly by his side, keeping him from getting back in the winner’s circle. His last PGA Tour victory was back in May 2022 when he lifted the PGA Championship trophy. And since then? Let’s just say he’s been stuck in the land of “so close, yet so far.”

So, what’s next for Thomas? Well, mark your calendars! You’ll see him teeing off at The Sentry from January 2-5, 2025, at the Plantation Course in Kapalua, Maui. This event usually invites winners from the previous PGA TOUR season, but for 2025, they have twisted things a bit. Players who finished in the top 50 of the FedExCup standings—whether they secured a win or not—earned their spot in the field. And guess what? JT is in, thanks to his solid FedExCup finish. It’s the perfect stage for a fresh start and, hopefully, the end of that frustrating winless streak.

The 2024 season wasn’t all rainbows and birdies for Thomas. He struggled in several areas, but let’s give credit where it’s due—he still managed to pull off six top-10 finishes. Not bad for a winless season, right?

One highlight came at the PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Thomas tied for eighth place in an emotional homecoming that left him full of gratitude for the incredible local support.

And we can’t forget the ZOZO Championship in October 2024. JT came heartbreakingly close to breaking his drought, finishing second. It was a bittersweet moment—so near to victory, yet still
far away from it actually happening.

While his on-course journey was not as fulfilling, his off-course life did give him reasons to celebrate.

A few months earlier, the couple had shared their exciting news on Instagram, and the baby’s gender reveal happened just before the ZOZO Championship. JT admitted he was thrilled—and maybe a little nervous—about becoming a dad. But now that Molly’s here, his joy is hard to miss.

On November 18, Thomas posted the big announcement on Instagram: “Our little girl is here! Molly Grace Thomas arrived to us on 11/18/24, and we couldn’t be more in love. Both Momma (who is a superhero!) and Molly are healthy, and doing well! ❤️” He also gave a special shoutout to the team at Jupiter Medical Center for their exceptional care.

So, while his year on the course may not have gone as planned, JT’s new role as a dad has given him a whole new reason to chase those wins. After all, what better motivation than making his daughter proud?
