Fireworks to end the 2024 season! The crypto.com showdown, or as everyone calls it, LIV Golf vs. PGA Tour, went down in an epic clash. The event ended with the wins of Scottie Scheffler and Rory MacIlroy, taking home a massive amount of $10 million in cryptocurrency. This ultimately led to the LIV Golf stars Bryson Dechambeau and Brooks Koepka feeling embarrassed among their fans. Surprisingly, fans also called them out, saying “sore losers,” given the fact that the LIV Golf duo had hyped up their winning chances, unlike the PGA Tour.

Luckily, the fans appear to have forgotten it after the Crushers’ GC captain kept his promise made to his fans. The LIV Golf star has confirmed a visit to India in January 2025. The 31-year-old will take part in the Asian Tour’s revamped International Series, a $2 million event to be held at the DLF Golf & Country Club, Gurugram, from January 30 to February 2, 2025. This will mark LIV Golf’s first debut in the subcontinent.

It was also announced on the official Instagram account of the International Series Golf, captioning the post as “2024 U.S. Open champion and Crushers GC captain Bryson DeChambeau to headline International Series India presented by DLF🏌⛳🇮🇳.” This development is huge, as DeChambeau will become the first-time defending major champion to participate in a golf meet in India.

Bryson DeChambeau‘s teammate, Anirban Lahiri, is as thrilled as he is. Lahiri has often spoken highly of the LIV Golf star, admiring his analytical approach to the game, his emphasis on physical fitness, and scientific principles in golf. As Lahiri noted, “I think we will see an amazing impact on Indian golf because of the tournament. If all goes down well, and if Bryson is here, there are so many people who just want to get a glimpse of the man for the way he has transformed our sport.”

Additionally, a week after the LIV Golf events in Hong Kong and Singapore in March, the 31-year-old might play in the Wynn International Series Macau. With no LIV Golf events until May 2025, this could be the ideal time for him to prepare for the Masters Tournament. Furthermore, before conquering the British Open, DeChambeau may improve his game at the International Series Morocco. Unfortunately, the family man will be unable to attend the LIV Golf event in Andalucía the following week due to his Majors commitments.

Dechambeau began his golfing journey going door-to-door for his Jr. golf events. And now he is a global celebrity. With this zeal flowing through him, he would undoubtedly make the most of his 2025 events.
