The eight times winner on the PGA Tour with one major championship, and the 2020 U.S. Open title, Bryson DeChambeau, is among the best golf players today. Even though he is good, he knows ‌he has no competition with LIV golf player, Brooks Koepka. And he once graciously admitted the fact.

The feud between Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka

DeChambeau and Koepka are both great golf players. But they have been in the headlines since their feud started back in January 2019. This feud has been on and off since then and it does disappoint the fans, but they enjoy it too.

There was a time when fans thought that the feud was over after the 2021 Ryder Cup. But, ‘The Match’ brought the feud back in full force. It all started with a comment Koepka made about DeChambeau and called him “slow play” during the 2019 Dubai Desert Classic. This comment started a debate in the golf world. It caused DeChambeau to become defensive.

Bryson replied, “Let’s have some more, I was going to say something else, but let’s have some more balls and speak to me to my face about that.”

The better player wins

The slow play pseudo-feud finally ended. After years worth of wait and people’s opinion, it came to a resolution at Northern Trust Open 2019. DeChambeau and Koepka appeared on SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio together, so that they could publicly put an end to this altercation.

DeChambeau cleared the air, because he did not want to continue on with this petty indifference. He said, “Let’s be honest, we know who would win that fight and it’s not me. Let me tell you right now — he’d kick my a**.”

To which Koepka replied, “You’ve got that right.”

It was a fun conversation where they both settled it in a gracious manner with a pinch of humor.
