However, before she turned into a major influencer, Spiranac was just an aspiring golfer. Difficulties stood in her way and before she knew it, more opportunities presented themselves to her.
How it all began for Paige Spiranac
Born in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, Spiranac was an wannabe gymnast. Her insane talent even made her skip from level six to the elite. Unfortunately, however, injuries plagued her career, and it took a halt before it even took off.
Moreover, bullying accompanied a hair condition she suffered from during that time that led her to seek solace in the isolation golf provided. At the age of 12, she left gymnastics and joined golf. Her junior years in the sport were quite successful. This earned her a golf scholarship to the University of Arizona where she competed for the Arizona Wildcats.
Meanwhile, a Total Frat Move article on her in 2015 led to a massive spike in her Instagram following. The sudden popularity explosion accompanied an invitation from the Omega Dubai Ladies Classic of the Ladies European Tour. Following this, she played on the Cactus tour for a while, where she bagged her first and only professional win.

In August 2016, Paige competed in her first LPGA Qualifying tournament to earn a chance of playing on the professional circuit. However, she was unsuccessful. That December, she received another invite to play in Dubai. Unfortunately, she missed the cut, as a result of which she chose to retire.
One thing led to the other and instead, she began concentrating on her social media presence.
Following this move, she has featured in magazines like Sports Illustrated Swimsuit and GolfDigest and even wrote a monthly column with the Golf Magazine. Soon, more endorsements and sponsorships followed, and she finally made a permanent place for her in the glam world.
