Born in 2003, the youngest Daly child always had a love for golf. By the time he turned 6 years old, Daly Jr. started showing much interest in golf. By the time he turned 10, Daly II started playing in tournaments and was by the side of his father during his events. Right now Daly Jr. is in the amateur phase of his career. So far he has made 3 top-10 finishes.
Like his father, Daly II also plays college golf at the University of Arkansas. Similar to Daly, Daly Jr. also is a part of the Razorbacks. Daly Jr. has many accomplishments to boast of when it comes to collegiate golf. He has won the Sung Hyun Park Junior Championship, finished second at the AJGA Junior Championship, and 5th at the Justin Thomas Junior Championship. Other than that, he has also finished in the top 10 in four other college events.
John Daly too trusts his son’s golfing skills and counts upon it, which is why he took Daly Jr as his caddie for the prestigious Open Championship in 2022. In fact, in a 2020 interview, Daly admitted that Daly II outdrives him. According to the veteran golfer, his son hits so far that he can’t keep up with him.
Daly further added “He really does have a passion for the short game. He loves to putt and chip.” Surely Daly II is a champion in making and the biggest example of this is the famous win attained at the 2021 PNC Championship by the Daly boys.
