The 2024 Sanderson Farms Championship has begun. After a successful opening round, fan-favorite Rickie Fowler is tied for the 54th position with nineteen other players at a 3-under. He carded beautiful birdies to get through. But, well, it wasn’t only his gameplay that stole the spotlight. It was his gigantic water bottle. It had a bunch of cool stickers that captured her attention, covering it completely from top to bottom.
Well, it was not any regular bottle. For the 34-year-old, it is a prized possession. Well, it does have a story behind it, but in his terms, “I will not make up anything crazy for this bottle.” There is a particular reason as to why he carries such a big bottle on the course. The 6X PGA Tour winner stated that he carries such a big bottle with him during all the tournaments because his electrolytes are very potent. He likes mixing 28 to 30 ounces of water with it.
And well, that is not all. You will often spot him carrying his huge bottle in his hands, even when he walks around the greens. Why so? That is because keeping it close to him keeps reminding him to drink water. “The real reason is I drink more water and electrolytes when I carry it. I started carrying it at the beginning of this year. I drink more if I’m carrying it, and it’s also heavy when it’s full, so I don’t want to necessarily throw that on Rick, my caddie, to tote that thing around,” he said when asked about it at the US Open.

His bottle left the fans so curious, that one of them even commented on his tweet and said, “At least a popular big name but should have asked him what the hell is in that bottle he constantly carries around after every shot it’s weird! Seems addicted to it seriously”. Well, his bottle has been the talk of the community ever since he started using it.
What do Rickie Fowler’s stickers represent?
The bottle captured the attention of the fans at the Tour Championship in August as well. Back then, he stated that all the stickers on his bottle were not just for show. They represented something important to him or reminded him of a friend in some way. He pointed at one of the stickers, he said, “I have myself in there”. His bottle also has two Sump Coffee stickers and some Side Project stickers, which are from breweries based in St. Louis, and the professional golfer relinquishes having coffee from there.
He also has a Hyperice sticker, which is a brand that is one of his investors. Starting from Golf WRX photographers at the side, and at the bottom, to the photographer’s daughter, who is a shooter, he has all sorts of stickers, each one telling a story that he has enjoyed.
