Fuzzy Zoeller was one of the most prominent names on the PGA Tour in the 1980s. In an illustrious career, Fuzzy won 10 PGA Tours and two major championships. Tragically, Fuzzy Zoeller is going through a tough period, following the passing of his wife, Diane Zoeller. However, the exact cause of her death is still unknown.

Notably, the 70-year-old former professional golfer hasn’t spoken about the incident yet. He currently lives in New Albany, Indiana, where he was born and raised as well. Fuzzy was an exceptional golfer, and his ten PGA Tour wins came in the era when Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player were dominating the world of golf.

Fuzzy Zoeller’s wife passes away 

Fuzzy Zoeller, lost his wife, Diane Zoeller, on Saturday, December 18th; She was just 69 years old. The exact reason or cause of her death is still a mystery.

Earlier this year, according to topinfoguide.com, Zoeller had said that Daine was diagnosed with rapid state dementia eight years ago. While many speculate the same to be the reason for her death, there is no official confirmation yet. Together, the couple has three daughters and a son.

Back in his time, Fuzzy won both the major championships in the playoffs. He is also one of the three players who has won the Masters tournament in his first-ever appearance in the event. Moreover, along with 10 PGA Tours, he also won the 1984 U.S. Open, which earned him the 1985 Bob Jones Award.

Fuzzy also competed in the PGA Tour Champions, which is a senior professional golf event. He won two events on the senior tour and played his last event in 2017. His final event was the 2017 Principal Charity Classic, and since then, he hasn’t competed in any professional golf event.
