The golf world is overflowing with speculation about Xander Schauffele’s future on the PGA Tour. The 2-time major winner has been making headlines with his mysterious withdrawals from recent events, including the Farmers Insurance Open and the TGL. Fans are worried that Schauffele might be chasing a lucrative deal with LIV Golf, especially after his stellar 2024 season. Schauffele’s withdrawal from the American Express in La Quinta, California, due to a “medical reason”, is only the beginning of a longer-than-expected absence from the golf scene. Despite his father’s assurances that he’s not leaving the Tour, rumors persist and nothing can be said as of yet.

Schauffele’s last event was the Sentry Tournament of Champions, where he finished T30. Amidst all this uncertainty everyone is wondering, will Schauffele make a comeback anytime soon? Well, nothing can be said right now. Schauffele has been tight-lipped about his future plans after withdrawing from American Express, leaving fans and pundits alike wondering what’s next for the World No. 2. However, considering Xander Schauffele’s last year’s schedule, it’s possible that we might see him at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Schauffele finished with a score of T54 (-4) in last year’s At&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. While it’s unclear if he’ll make an appearance this time around, his past participation suggests that it’s not entirely out of the question. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see if Schauffele decides to tee off at Pebble Beach.

Scottie Scheffler is “hopeful” to begin his 2025 Season at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am

Scottie Scheffler is suffering from an injury that will keep him out of the American Express. The World No. 1 accidentally cut his hand on broken glass while preparing Christmas dinner, requiring surgery on his right hand. Scheffler will be out until the end of January, missing out on the initial four events of the season. Despite the setback, Scheffler is hopeful to begin his 2025 season at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.“After consulting with my medical team, I have made the decision to withdraw from next week’s American Express tournament to give my injury more time to heal,” Scheffler said in a statement.

“I am still hopeful to begin my 2025 Season at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am,” he mentioned additionally. Scheffler’s injury is a significant blow to the American Express, which has already lost another top golfer to withdrawal. The 28-year-old Scheffler was looking to start his season strong, but now he’ll have to wait a bit longer to get back on the course. His fans will be eagerly awaiting his return, and hopefully, he’ll make a successful comeback at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Between Scheffler and Schauffele who are you excited to see the most?
