Earlier, the popular club was also known as Ocean Trails Golf Club. However, later it came to be known as The Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles. It is a public golf club located in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Pete Dye and Donald J. Trump Signature Design collaborated to come out with the challenging 18-hole course layout. It is also known for the breathtaking views it has to offer, thanks to the Pacific Ocean.
The opening of the club had been delayed due to natural causes. It has a unique history. After it originally opened as Ocean Trails Golf Club, an earthquake struck, causing major damage to the course in 1999.
Donald Trump purchased the property in 2002, completing the construction and renovation on January 20, 2006. It came to be known as the Trump National Golf Club in Los Angeles. The golf course can be spotted in a lot of movies and is known for its spectacular views, making it a great spot for shooting. The course also earned a mention in Golf magazine’s ‘Top 100 Courses You Can Play’ list. However, it has become the focus of a controversial lawsuit.

New York State Attorney General Letitia James has pursued a civil fraud trial against former President Donald Trump, alleging that he fraudulently inflated the value of his properties and assets to deceive banks and insurers.
