In March 2016, Finau won his first PGA Tour event at the Puerto Rico Open. He defeated Steve Marino in a sudden-death playoff by birdieing the third extra hole. From his maiden win, Finau earned $540,000.

In 2017, he opted not to defend his Puerto Rico championship and instead participated in the 2017 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play. Finau finished sixth in the season-long FedExCup during the 2018 season.

After placing second at the WGC-HSBC Championships in October 2018, where he fell to seasoned golfer Xander Schauffele in a playoff, Finau won more than $1,000,000 for his runner-up finish. He played alongside Tiger Woods and Francesco Molinari in the final pairing at the 2019 Masters and ultimately finished fifth.

Last year, Tony Finau finally won his second PGA Tour tournament after claiming the 2021 Northern Trust, defeating Cam Smith in the final found. Later that year, Finau earned a T2 finish at the Saudi International, earning $388,880.

Now, with his latest win at TPC Twin Cities, the 32-year-old added another $1,350,000 to his earnings on the PGA Tour. Along with his earnings on the field, Finau also enjoys the endorsement money through his long-term agreements with Ping and Nike.
