When you are playing with Tiger Woods, there can be moments when you realize that you are not good enough. Playing with the greatest golfer can be demoralizing sometimes. Trevor Immelman, the President Cup captain, recalled when he felt demoralized after witnessing great shots by the former number-one golfer.
One of his favorite times playing with the pro golfer was not even in a tournament. It was in the practice round. The captain saw Woods play against Ernie Els, Phil Mickelson, and many more golfers. His mind was blown away by a short Woods hit during a practice round.

Why did the Presidents Cup captain feel bad after he played with Tiger Woods?
Once Woods invited Immelman over to come practice with him. They got to the 17th hole, and the pro golfer tried to cut the corner with his tee shot. However, he didn’t quite get to the fairway on the other side. According to Immelman, the ball was in the middle of a set of mounds, and the rocks were about an inch and a half long, so they were not thick or rough.
The major championship winner pulled out a driver from his bag. And Immelman thought, “What is this guy doing?” Woods ended up ripping the thing with a high cut. It was about 15 feet tall. And Immelman was so mesmerized by the shot that he could not believe his eyes. Explaining his amazement, he said, “I was just thinking to myself, I mean, there is literally not another human on the planet that can hit the shot right here that I’ve just seen. And there were many times that he would do stuff like that was pretty demoralizing.”

He realized that there was no other human who could hit that shot other than the GOAT himself. Even though the shot was excellent, Immelman mentioned that he felt deflated.
