Can Talor Gooch retain his title in Adelaide this year? One of the biggest events of the LIV Golf season will tee off this weekend! Golfers from the Saudi-based league will play in the LIV Golf Adelaide in Australia from February 14-16, 2025. *February 13-16 for the American audience as per the time difference. Fans are excited to cheer for their favorite stars like Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, and others.

However, the venue for the event is uniquely different from what the players faced at LIV Golf Riyadh. The Grange Golf Club is known to be one of the wildest golfing destinations in the world. Much like the TPC Scottsdale, a lot of fans love attending the event and turning it into a party. And one of the most celebrated holes in the golf club is the Watering Hole. Loud cheers, chilled beers, and crazy plays

Imagine being at the center of a tee-off spot surrounded by a wild crowd closely looking at your every move. You have to ensure every stroke you hit is magical enough to get a loud cheer from everyone around you. Your best efforts are celebrated by hundreds, if not thousands of people in attendance. No, we’re not talking about a football or soccer match. It’s also not Emiliano Grillo’s 16th-hole ace in the 2025 WM Phoenix Open. This is what every golfer goes through for the 3 rounds of the LIV Golf Adelaide’s 12th hole.

The pressure is intense, but so is the reward. This 165-yard par 3 is one hole that every LIV Golf pro wants to nail. Whether they are playing the first round or the last. The tee-off is surrounded by marquee stands and the skyboxes, which are usually crowded with a barrage of loud fans. This makes for one of the most unique and magnificent atmospheres seen in professional golf.

The most amazing display of the party that happens on the 12th was seen in 2023. Brooks Koepka’s brother, Chase Koepka nailed a beautiful tee shot. His ball sunk from the first stroke, giving him an ace. That led to one of the biggest celebrations on the tee spot. Koepka was covered in beer as he hopped around in disbelief. The course was raining with beer as everyone joined in on Chase Koepka’s celebration.

This made the video of the hole-in-one and the celebration that followed shared on social media quite deceptive. It seemed like it was actually raining in the field. Golf fans were ecstatic about the scenes at the Grange Golf Course with some commenting “This is the best” on the Instagram post.

LIV Golf Adelaide preview

Ever since his debut, Jon Rahm has been a constant threat in every LIV Golf event. The Spaniard’s incredible skills and strokeplay puts him on an elite list of players in the world at the moment. So it’s no surprise that he is among the few favorites to win LIV Golf Adelaide. But Rahm is not the only one who can challenge Talor Gooch for his title.

The 2023 Masters Tournament winner’s teammate, Tyrrell Hatton has also been in great form recently. At the beginning of 2025, Hatton came out on top in a field packed with the best golfers in the world. The Englishman faced Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy, Patrick Reed, and many other great players to win the Hero Dubai Desert Classic 2025. Hatton showcased his abilities in LIV Golf Riyadh as well, and there is no question that he will be a favorite to win LIV Golf Adelaide.
