Every person in the community is looking forward to the biennial event which pits the two teams against each other in an ultimate patriotic showdown of sorts. But the Donald-led team, including 4X winner Rory McIlroy, John Rahm, Viktor Hovland, and defending champion Shane Lowry, will be teeing it up for the DP World Tour’s flagship event in Wentworth.

The 2023 BMW PGA Championship will prove to be further elevated as the event is set to happen just two weeks after the Ryder Cup. Moreover, the tournament will be taking place exactly 70 years after the 1953 edition of the prestigious tournament which was hosted at Wentworth. But what’s more, the event will see professionals teamed up with global celebrities as part of a curtain-raiser to the main tournament which will commence on Wednesday.

The BMW Championship Pro-Am shows off a star-studded line-up including soccer star Gareth Bale, actor Tom Holland, and a bunch of cricketers including Stuart Broad, James Anderson, Harry Brook, and Sir Andrew Strauss. The 102nd DP World Tour group-sanctioned event will, no doubt, provide an entertainment-packed week as the Ryder Cup compatriots will be able to lose a bit of steam in a fun-filled environment.

The fourth Rolex Series Tournament of the European Tour season would also include an interactive experience for the audience as there are multiple activities for them to indulge in.

The upcoming tournament is shaping up to become one of the biggest and most interactive events that the golf club in Wentworth has hosted in its history. Moreover, the course is all set to provide a fair test for the elite line-up not forgetting the spectator experience.
